Danny Ramirez Biography
A native of Chicago, Illinois, Danny Ramirez is an American actor best recognized for his many roles such as Joaquin Torres in the series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
He made his television debut on Showtime’s, The Affair followed by roles on NBC’s Blindspot and the feature film, Rapid Eye Movement. At the time he was going to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Ramirez also guest-starred in Orange Is the New Black. He also played the role of Wes on Fox’s The Gifted and as Mario on the hit Netflix series On My Block.
Ramirez won the Third Annual NYU Stonestreet Granite Award in November 2018. The award had earlier been awarded to Miles Teller and Rachel Brosnahan.

In the series, Captain America investigated the disappearance of Mexican teenager Joaquin Torres after he was abducted by the Sons of the Serpent. He went on to discover that Joaquin was being used in the experiments of Karl Malus who turned Joaquin into a bird/human hybrid.
